Jacquez Jones, an outside linebacker from Alabama’s backyard in Tuscaloosa, gave his verbal pledge to the Rebels. Jones is a three-star recruit, and ranked No. 673 overall in the country. 247Sports also ranks him No. 43 among linebackers and No. 26 in Alabama for the class of 2018.He is the first player to commit to the Rebels since Scott Phillips on July 1.
The program lost two recruitsin the immediate aftermath of the Freeze scandal, and still only have eight commits. The 2018 class is ranked 14th in the SEC and 92nd nationally. It is unlikely that Ole Miss will have a ton of recruiting success until its head coaching situation is figured out.Jones also holds offers from LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, and others.

That makes sense to me. sounds like a solid selling point. Something like, "If you're worth a damn, you'll be playing, now!"

And "if your not worth a damn, you'll fit right in". (Kidding of course)
