I just love how the progressives who proclaim to be sooooooo tolerant are only tolerant of things THEY feel strongly about.....Any other opinion need not apply and is NOT to be tolerated. It seems to me there's an all out assault on any 'traditions' based in southern culture..... But, but, but our progressive betters (just ask them they'll tell you how superior their ideals and intellect are) tell us there is no slippery slope....Bull crap!

According to the article, "The Maryland state song has ties to the Confederacy — so it must be eliminated." Well, freeing the slaves can be tied to the Confederacy, so what about eliminating freedom? Hey, what, the politically correct crowd is trying to do that and make everyone have the same thoughts and beliefs!

I heard on NPR this morning that the National Cathedral in D.C. is removing some 2 stained glass windows that honored Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.

The perpetrators behind this whole move are seeking to erase a part of history and also to divide the country. It is unfortunate that so many people are brain washed and stupid enough to think that removal of Confederate and Southern symbols will resolve problems. Why don't these people focus their time and energy on feeding or educating the underprivileged, or even working towards balancing the budget?
On a sad note, the youth of today will never understand, or see the US as a Super Power. They will not comprehend the concept of a Super Power. Instead they will applaud and sometimes side with enemies of the US who want to see this once great country destroyed. The US is really headed down hill and I fortunate that I was able to see the country in its hey day.

Me too.....The days of Leave it To Beaver and Father Knows Best are now scoffed at by the current generation of 'ME'. Yet those days saw a country that was head and shoulders above the rest of the world....and we let that slip through our fingers and for what......the siren song of socialism.....
