Student section picking up from last season...
Clearing out at half again. Looks like crap. They really need to cut the allotment for their tickets.

Someone might have dropped a banana peel and they ran for their life. Ole Miss football games canceled for the rest of the year while everyone seeks therapy.

I was there and the north end zone was full at kickoff but cleared out very quickly in the 2nd half. Rebel Rewards even offered anyone who stayed till the end of the 4th quarter 100 points. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how full VHS was Saturday.
At least the school moved the band from the NE to the SE corner so they won't be in the hot sun in those unis.

I, too was pleased with the crowd. Most people said we would not have 55,000, but the place was nearly full be the end of the 1st quarter. Why the students leave early I am sure looks bad on TV, but it really doesn't bother those of us in the stands. The kids will stay when we are playing a big game. Look for the same thing this week and if we are ahead 40 to 0 at the half, I may go with them.
