    There has got to be improvement on the defense.  McGriff seems to be the kind of coach that is a motivator and will get the most out of his players.  Getting away from the 4-2 should help stop some of the breaking plays that the Rebels encountered in 2017.

    It will be interesting to see how Longo implements a running game.  Ole Miss has desperately needed a running game to compliment the passing game, but hard headed Hugh just refused to recruit big, hard hitting RBs.  Also, allowing the QB to get under center would be an improvement in the short yardage situations.

    Football season will be here soon.  After September the Rebel fans will know what kind of team and coaching staff exists in 2017.
