Re: What Saturday Represents For Luke

I hope Luke is very successful as HC - not because I want him to be the HC, but because I want Ole Miss to WIN! Long term, it's not gonna be good to have someone learning on the job, but for now, he is our HC and he'll have my support.

Agree, too!  Ole Miss needs to surprise some people this year.

As long as Luke is HC, I'll always wonder "is this the week he was too lazy to prepare our team per SEC standards" or "is this the year he coasts".

We wanted to proclaim Nutt the second coming of bear Bryant and then he flopped big time.  Same with Freeze.  I expect to see a lot of positives this year and next with our team.  Patterson and talent on O will likely be the reason for the positives.  I expect Luke to get a lot of praise for any positives we have but I expect him to be a big disappointment eventually.

A big win today and the campaign for ML as permanent HC will begin in earnest....  The Cutcliff 2 era has arrived.

One thing is for sure, Luke wants to be at Ole Miss and would stay at Ole Miss if given the opportunity.

2001-2005: Ole Miss (OL/TE) - David Cutcliffe
2006-2007: Tennessee (OL/TE) - Philip Fulmer
2005-2005: Ole Miss (OL/TE - short lived) - Ed Orgeron
2008-2011: Duke (Co-OC/OL) - David Cutcliffe
2012-2016: Ole Miss (Co-OC/OL) - Hugh Freeze
2017: Ole Miss (Interim HC)
