    Ole Miss Baseball #4

    RPI up 74 after this weekend.  Tulane moved up also by being swept.

    Perfect Game has Ole Miss at #8 (previously #11)
    Baseball America has Ole Miss at #12 (previously #16)
    D1 Baseball has kept Ole Miss at #9 (Oddly, D1 Baseball still has MSU at #21 after they lost to TAM - CC and sport a 3-4 record )

    This is good to have these rankings, but then the difficult part is that you have to stay on top of things to maintain your ratings.  At this time I will be happy with the rankings, but the true test comes later in the season, which is when Bianco ball often takes its toll.

    Click on the link in Academy's original post.  Warren Nolan has us ranked #4.
    The other rankings are for perspective.  Not sure I've ever seen a sport have such a wide range of rankings than college baseball.

    That is our RPI ranking, which will take a hit this week because of bad RPI teams we've got coming up.

    Hope we are anywhere close to that good at the end of the season.  But I do enjoy the enthusiasm of this team.

    Same here!  We were rolling this time last year then hit the skids in Houston and never got off the mat after that. Color me cautiously optimistic. Winning creates confidence which certainly helps when the ruts happen and they will happen.
