i listened last night. he talked about how OM has been caught doing stuff that is punishable. The issue I have is that for 7 years, the NCAA compiled self reported issues and made a mountain out of mole hills
The issue at this point is the fact the NCAA could not find any recruiting violations. So from what godfrey kinda ties together, the NCAA colluded with Leo and potentially with MSU as well, a case again OM.
That is what I hope to hell can be found. If OM can prove any part that the NCAA tried to entrap/setup/plant/etc this crap then how can not not prove the investigation was rigged and biased?
We are going to get punishment, but if any of this can be proven, then frankly we should demand that our current self imposed penalties stand and screw it, I would our bowl ban to be as of last year

That's really what it sounds like. The biggest recruiting violations were there rigged ACTs under Nutt. The NCAA was pissed they couldn't find anything with teeth under Freeze so they offered these immunity deals to Lewis and Jones. The problem that they are going to have is simple - if they take Lewis at his word regarding Ole Miss, but not regarding MSU, then that sets up a lawsuit against the NCAA. Of course, the damage would be done by the time that goes through court. I'm just thinking that the COI cannot be happy with what Sheridan and company have done.
