    I wouldn’t think “tampering” such as changing grades or other purely academic fraud would trigger an investigation by federal and state law enforcement. It almost has to be something else.

    Some chatter is speculating that at device was used to crack the security settings on a lock which allowed the perps to access facilities that housed academic information.
