This is going to set a nasty precedent. Any player from now on will simply have to claim this when they want to transfer from one school to another.

The precedent was set when we caved to the Mars/Nutt lawsuit which basically opened the floodgates for Ole Miss to be challenged at every front because Ole Miss essentially admitted to lying. Once a liar always a liar is how it is viewed and will be challenged and won.
This is just part of the process to hurt our depth even more and use this extended opportunity to continue to paint the picture/narrative that Ole Miss is nothing but a bunch of cheating, lying, coaches and admin.

By giving in to Mutt and Mars, Ole Miss simply gave them ammunition. The first round of the lawsuit had been thrown out, so why not fight the second filing? Maybe it was the ingenious strategy of the lame duck Ole Miss counsel, Lee Tyner, who resigned last December.

I always thought Mars and Nutt knew more dirt on Freeze than just calling escorts. There were strong rumors there was more, too. Could be why Ole Miss caved in. All this just needs to be resolved so anything to do with Freeze, Ole Miss, and former players can get out of the news.
