    In order to get the monkey off our back why don't we just come out and say OM is not sure what may or may not have been told these 6 recruits , but to set the record straight we have no objection to them being given full releases to play now?

    It;s all BS. What would anyone expect these coaches to tell recruits.  Plus, the staff DIDNT KNOW what the penalties would be.  Then you see the penalties were really nothing.  For these kids the only thing that happened was 1 year on no bowl game. The first year of no bowl (2017) was know by everyone way in advance.  When the bowl ban for 2017 was announced at the end of Feb 2017, none of the class of 2017 asked to be released then.
