Ok, I will start off by saying this.  We are all failed people. We all fall short and often disgrace ourselfs and God's expectations.  I have never cheated on my wife but I also know the bible says if you lust after a women, even in your mind then, well.......

anyway.  point is this.  The progressive nashville mayor just admitted to having an over 2 year affair with her security detail.   A guy who is paid for by tax payers.  His salary over the last 2 years has been like 80k each year but since he started working for the mayor, his overtime increased like 3x and has made an extra 120k in overtime alone.  this includes like 20 business trips and at least 9 trips in which it was just him and her going to places like Greece and Paris, alone, on the tax payer dime, while having an extra marital affair....

Why does this matter?  I hate politicians.  Politics have turned into the gutter of humanity.  Just a few weeks ago, the mayor was a headline speaker at the women's march where she attacked trump for being sexists and what ever other selective outrage she could think of.  All while sleeping with a married man other than her husband. the same lady who was a director of ethics.  She states none of the times they cheated were on the tax payer clock but I just can't see how after 2 years and at least 9 trips alone that this did not happen.   Yet the progressive left does not question this.  The first thing I see as their response is the "yeah but" party line.  Mostly about trump and the senator race in bama.  

Hypocrisy of people kill me.  If the script was flipped and this was a conservative male having relations with his assistant, we would have already been cleaning up his ashes.  But she and her defenders are in full damage control.  The local news paper has been reporting on the revelations, but the liberal apologists are attacking the paper for covering the story. But there are already editorials from the progressive paper staff trying to soften the impact.  

Greed, lies, hate, etc are all human conditions.  there is nothing the left does that there is not an equivalent that the right does.  or even those who consider themselves "moderate".  Humans are failed beings and we all need grace.  The issue is holding responsible for actions.  It is my opinion that the left always gets off easy when they are stone cold caught while the right gets 1000x more heat from the frothy mouthed left and their friends in the media.    yet people keep falling for liberal narratives purely because they are the king of generating emotional outrage.
