From what I'm hearing, an announcement will be made today to announce that the XFL will be coming back. Sounds like they are focusing on restarting the league for 2020.

Just don't see anyone making a dent in the NFL even with the past year's issues. Went to see one Memphis Maniax game during the last incarnation of this league. While entertaining, it was sub par football as all the major stars were in the NFL. Was like the minor leagues.

What they need to do this go around it to make it more about football, and not try to make it "football with an attitude" (if that makes sense). The thing to keep in mind is it isn't to compete against the NFL - it's just another league. Kids don't want to sit through college for the required number of years? They can go to the XFL, make money, and possibly try to get on with the NFL. You're a 5 star sitting behind 3 other 5 stars on Alabama's bench, and you decide that Charger wasn't worth it? Go to the XFL, make money, show your talent, and try to make it to the NFL.
The possibility is there to be successful. They just need to roll back the crazy hype mess they tried to do and make it about football, and I think they'll be fine. I'm really looking forward to it, to be honest.

That kind of league will hurt the blue bloods of college football 5 stars can go make real money and not have to go to class then go to NFL will bring more parity to cllege football.

I might argue that bama players would take a pay cut going to the xfl and they still wouldn't have to go to class. Lol.
