Reporting says Bradley Dale Peveto to Texas A&M
Luke says he already has 3 or 4 candidates in mind to replace Peveto. Hmmm?

I heard about this Tues but was sworn to secrecy.. I like him, but to me he is not a game changer as a coach or recruiter.

Luke needs to get this hire right in order to strengthen the defensive coaching staff. From what I have been told, Preveto was a good coach and decent recruiter, but most LSU fans were not upset when he left their program.

Not a loss for sure. This was a coach lauded for his Texas HS recruiting contacts at LSU and Miles kept shuffling him around essentially hiding him on the staff for this purpose. Orgeron didn't keep him. That should tell you about his recruiting prowess...
It was a desperation hire just like Longo.
Let's hope Luke fills this position with a great coach and recruiter. I read where they are considering moving Freddie Roach to LB coach and hiring a DL coach. Roach played LB in college so it would make sense.
