Rebs Baseball ranked at #11 in Perfect Game's preseason rankings....
The offense is gonna have to make a major leap this season. Pitching should be very stout.

Last season was hard to watch all that talent just disappear at the plate.
Here's to hoping we can avoid the sophomore slumps. Damn the thoughts of that...

It will be interesting to see if we are "rebuilding" another year. Every year it seems like Ole Miss is either strong at pitching and weak at batter or strong at batting and weak at pitching. One thing for sure is that with all of the talent having a year of experience, the team needs to make a name for themselves. Bianco is a good baseball coach, but he has only one trip to Omaha in how many years?

We should see a jump at the plate with those freshmen. Going from high school to face some of the best pitching in college baseball was certainly going to cause those young kids some growing pains. But after the experience they gained last year and over the summer, I am optimistic about how they'll perform.
