LSU loses to Notre Dame. The Tigers failed to score a TD on a 4th and goal and then only got a FG with 4th and goal. They also missed two FGs. You can be assured that the Baton Rouge Creux is restless.

Bizarre, inexplicable decision by Orgeron to kick the FG on 4th down when a TD was mere inches away. Even if they failed to score, Notre Dame was on their own goal line on a wet field.

In that situation, no matter what O did, he would be criticized if the team lost. It all goes back to the 4th down in the Egg Bowl and the "not hiring at USC". He can't win no matter what.

Not sure where you get the "haters" part. I've always believed Ed Orgeron was not responsible for his poor performance while head coach at Ole Miss. The decision to hire him by Khayat and Boone was a management screw up of the first magnitude. Ed was nowhere near ready to be head coach of a major program, and he was thrown into a job for which was clearly not qualified by training or experience. Ed did the best he could but was simply not ready for the job. He himself has admitted that several times since leaving Ole Miss.

9 wins is a huge number for Orgeron in his first full year.
I believe the shine is starting to wear off at university of saban. Might be wrong, saban may buckle down and get things solid again but the last few years, I have seen the bama machine hiccup a few times against teams that they should have rolled on. bama was the better team imo last night but i think the door is starting to open a little wider for the rest of the sec to start winning a little more
AU is not as good as everyone kept talking them up to be. they are good, but their offense has been up and down.
bama just does not look as bullet proof as in years past. If we can just keep improving i think we will be in good shape
