I am no Luke supporter but he is doing better than I expected on the recruiting trail. I'll give him that. Hell, at least we aren't fighting Arkansas State for 2* recruits like we did post Brewer. I agree with Mob that some folks on here are getting a little ridiculous about finding reasons to complain. But hey, this is a message board and that's what people can do if they so choose. Let's just keep name calling out of it, please.

Just looked at Rivals, and Ole Miss is at #44. Wonder where there #39 ranking came from?

Well, our situation was certainly not ideal for recruiting. Before today, Scout had us ranked no. 62. After today's, signees, we are at 34. Final rankings won't come until after the February 7 Signing Day. We might move up a few places then. This was never going to be a great recruiting year for us, but it does not seem to be quite the disaster some predicted. As I said in another post, however, only time will tell how these signees pan out.

The OL is rebuilding. Don't you remember the HC mentioning this ... for the past 6 seasons!?!?!!!???

Most people are pleased bc expectations are low. We’ve come a long way from top 10 recruiting each year to now where being in the top 40 is exciting.

Crap Meridian did you have to remind me of that? I was excited about us signing 4 4Star cast offs from other schools now you spoil my excitement with the truth. BaHumBug to you.

Say what you will this is much better than expected and as for Corral he had a lot more options than just going to Ole Miss.
That is completely inaccurate regarding Corral. I will say he exhausted as of his options which is how he ended up at Ole Miss. Actually I am quoting it from the National beat guys when they did their story on him. Follow the trail that led him to Ole Miss and you will quickly see he didn't choose Ole Miss. Ole Miss is likely the only school willing to take him by the time he had run everyone else through the gamut.
