Good luck, Jefferson, working on your downfield blocking techniques while Mullens runs his QB on continual QB draws. You are just another whining quitter on the team who could not get a starting position.
Ole Miss should block the immediate transfer of anyone, especially to another SEC school. Let Mars and his gang of misfits sue. Because the legal system moves so slowly, it will probably be the season of 2019 before anyone is cleared.

So far, other than Shea, none of the transfers have been a huge loss of a contributor, have they? And didn't Van get hurt late in the season?
I think the staff are letting those who don't want to be at Ole Miss leave, i can't say that I blame them.

If he has to sit a year, he won't have much to show the "scouts". I think his father has a lot to do with this "transfer".

He'll have to sit out a year unless the NCAA opens the floodgates and sets a crazy precedent in college football, basically eliminating the 1 year rule for transfers. If they allow him to play next season, then all any player has to say is their coach lied to them about playing time, position they'd play, etc...., and they can transfer and play right away.

... and hire Stars to represent them!!! Stars may be trying to make his niche with college athletes. If he is not getting paid now, he will collect checks when these players become pros. The bill might even have a few years of interest compounded monthly added to it!!!

my coworker was the jefferson family neighbor in brentwood. He was nothing but complementary about him but did say his father is what drives his "career". Not sure where his dad is a NFL coach now but I wonder if FL is closer to him so that is why he wanted him to go there.
but this is stupid IMO. our offense gets the ball to everyone. Van had more than ample opportunity and did well. In Mullen's system, normally only 1 WR gets any big numbers and I would assume it would be hard for him to walk in a totally new system and be that guy.. Good luck van, looks like you will get some life experience if anything

His dad lives in FL, but seems dumb to transfer from a passing offense to a QB running offense.

If he wants to play in the State of Florida, Miami or FSU would be a better choice, but then it is his choice to make.

If memory recalls, he wasn't happy about having to redshirt initially. I wonder if that has something to do with his overall view towards the program?
