Don't let the door hit you in the pass on your way out! Always a Rebel, my ass.
Like I said the other day, our team has been dealt a lousy hand, not their fault, but if you aren't 100% on it for the Rebels, you won't give your all on the field. I rather they leave than stay if they can't go all in.

But he wanted Luke hired!!! And if Luke wasn't hired, he was gonna transfer right?

Who would have thunk it? I a high profile kid that didn't want to play for a shitty OL coach for the rest of his career.

Imagine THAT...... and as Church Lady would have asked......"Isn't that special?"

I believe it is the 'coaching' situation that prompted the move - not any "bowl ban".

Yes the coaching situation going all the way back to firing Werner. That was where it started. This was never going to end well. Best of luck to Shea. He escaped the corrupt GOB ridden football program posing as Ole Miss Rebels. Just a sign of more things to come along with the excuses for why we shouldn't be angry about it.

I totally agree. I am pretty sure Patterson signed his request to transfer the day Luke was announced as the HC. Frankly, I don’t blame him for leaving.

But he's a quitter when he isn't sure that everything is going to come out the way he wants...he learned that from Daddy.
Just look at his highschool career and the number of times he moved then. There is a pattern here learned intentionally or not from his father and brother.
My guess is that for some unforeseen reason he doesn't make it in pro ball, he will be a "job-hopper" with an excuse at every turn for why he HAD to make that professional move. That is a BAD pattern to develop so early on in one's life, IMO.
Sounds somewhat familiar: Johnny Eff'in Football, maybe?

I remember Colin Cowherd talking about successful NFL qbs years ago. Only like 2 NFL starting QBs went to big schools surrounded by talent. The rest were what he called "grinders". Shae doesn't strike me as a grinder. I do wish him well and completely understand why he is leaving. No reason he should waste his talent being coached by Luke and Longo.
