I hope and pray I am Bad Wrong but I feel like we will be buying out Matt Luke and his assistants in 2-3 years and having to go through all of this spit again. What A Revolting Development This Is.

Luke is no doubt set for life. $12m richer. Meanwhile he flushes our program even farther down the shitter and walks away pockets dragging. We will have a full blown civil war amongst our own sometime between now and then. I hope it's much closer to now as every day we fall farther and farther behind...

For me that 'war' was already declared.....not by the fans.
Tonight I got the "we know you're anxious" email from Bjork....I replied (knowing it won't be read) and said "get back to me when you decide to pursue winning football because hiring an OL coach with zero coordinator much less HC experience is not acceptable....."
I then un-subscribed from further spam emails from the athletic department....I'm sending the message "You screwed the pooch".... I'm just 1 but I suspect many will do likewise.....
This reminds me of the Billy Kinard fiasco.....another hire where a family member is influential in the AD... That pisses me off more by the day. Instead of it going away I'm getting a worse case of the red ass every single day the more I think about this crap...
He was panther quick and Leather tough.

Even with multiple consecutive losing seasons, Luke will not be fired for bad performance. Perhaps he will be assigned a cushy job in the Athletics Department. Ole Miss is stuck with Luke.

I don't see any way possible Luke is fired within 2-3 years if he was hired after this last season. If he had enough excuses to go 6-6 the way we did and still get $3+ mil, then there are enough excuses to go 2-10 for 5 years with no questions asked.

True.....BUT...he has the built in NCAA excuse...that's good for at least 4 years...maybe 5.
The writing was on the wall already......his hire already started using it....."who ELSE would have come here?" So the big excuse has already been qued to run....with the first installment costing us $3m......for a man who hasn't even been a coordinator.....who wasn't sought by ANY other school....but fits the "criteria" OM had...per Bjork.
