Tennessee among the SEC schools pursuing Hugh Freeze for OC job
Freeze will be employed making a nice salary as an OC. In 2019 he will be eligible to become a HC. Freeze did not get a show cause penalty, which many think he should have gotten. Instead he got a two conference game suspension. It seems unfair that Freeze destroyed the Ole Miss football program and it will take years for the program to recover. On the other hand, Freeze will be back on his feet by next season.

Well....I think that debunks the theory that the NCAA had a personal grudge against Hugh......OM, on the other hand, was obviously the target...... I'm guessing someone had a personal grudge or agenda (insert PC) to grind....
He was panther quick and Leather tough.
If he figured that He'd been pushed enough.

He has a winning record at just about every place he has been. Isn't that all that matters in football?!

One day OM fans will realize that no matter who the coach was at OM and they had success beating Alabama, the NCAA was coming after them. Freeze takes a lot of the blame, but the OM administration should take the most for not standing up to the NCAA. If I am OM leadership, I have it on a loop asking why MSU has got zero sanctions for paying Leo Lewis. I would be on Finebaumn, ESPN, etc Something he admitted to the NCAA.
Freeze's personal failings of calling hookers on a school phone did not get OM in trouble. Him winning did.

Anyone hiring that back stabbing piece of dung will join a list of schools like state that I just hate to the core. Boy, that alone should just scare the H _ _ _ out of 'em! LOL

I basically posted these same thoughts in another post. Freeze didn't fail us, our admin failed Freeze and us. Freeze was a winner and would have stayed here winning for a long time but we went for exemplary cooperation. Our admin wants us to focus our anger toward him and not the idiots who really deserve it.

Mustang, do you think Saban will give him a position at Alabama? it obviously wouldn't be at OC but maybe something off the field?

olemissjcj, my guess is no to Saban hiring him on or off the field. Freeze doesn’t seem to think his reputation needs any rehab since he is openly trying to get an on the field asst or OC job already. See below article.
