Coordinators

Has anything been said about the coordinators? We desperately need a DC. OC is ok but lacking in situational cases. I’d rather have new blood altogether but haven’t heard anything.

Re: Coordinators

Kurt Roper and Noel Mazzone are available as OC's!!!  Now thats scary, but do not be surprised if you do not see one or both at Ole Miss.

Re: Coordinators

If there are any changes it will be additions of Roper and Mazzone.  No one wants any of our current staff and we certainly aren’t attracting any good replacements so it is what it is.
Not hard to figure out how shitty of a staff we have that is backed by a gutless, clueless and corrupt admin.  The coaching network is very tight knit.  Hell even the agents know.

Yepper.....

As much as I was pissed at Tuberville for leaving us in the middle of the night the way he did.....I also saw WHY he did so.  There was zero support at OM to win championships.  IMO...from observing over time....it appeared to me that Bob Khyatt was hell bent to prove to the academic elite wannabees that he wasn't a 'jock' that he almost tied himself in knots to downplay expectations of the fans of athletic programs....and not promote an aggressive building program and top tier football program.....

While facilities have now improved it's my opinion that the underlying resistance to being a top tier SEC program is still alive and well..... We've done enough to be middle of the pack....and that fits with the "we just want to be 'competitive'" narrative.....  In other words....do just enough to get by and exist with status quo existence.....

I've said it over and over and will continue to say......"A fish rots from the head down".... The only thing that will change the status quo in Oxford is a COMPLETE gutting of the administration at the highest levels.....THEN they can ferret out the people who resist and, since they're basically unfireable, place them in positions where they can't do damage.....like manning the entry 'shack' for University Avenue..... They can welcome folks to campus and give directions.......

But, I'm not holding my breath.....

Supposedly Luke realized that Longo needed some "assistance" in making his offensive package more suitable to the SEC. As the season went on, Longo got some of that assistance, and our offense improved. Some will say that was just Ta'amu performing better than Patterson, but it was more than that. With a full nine months, including Spring practice and August camp, Luke and Longo will hopefully improve the offense considerably. We'll see.
