OK Fish, explain this one. Why would you spurn Arkansas for Memphis State? Even if the "little tigers" could match Razorback money, which they cannot, why would stay in a place where you can't advance? Maybe he thinks one more good year and Notre Dame will hire him.

I heard there was a scandal at a former place of employment with a young lady. He probably was taken off the board of all openings and staying at Memphis was his only option. Don’t know but it seems to explain.

Staying at Memphis a few more seasons and being successful could increase the demand for Norvell in the future. Also, in time, maybe this bad event will not be so bad, if he keeps his "nose" clean.
