Hugh Freeze had hundreds of phone calls with Ole Miss booster
More stuff is being exposed about Freeze. His image is really getting tarnished, in addition to his actions showing how stupid he really was while coaching in the big leagues. It appears Freeze just was not ready for the limelight.

Not a biggie. Hugh and Lee we're pretty much best friends - went golfing together frequently, etc...

How did you do playing with Hugh and Lee? Did Hugh cheat on his score? After all the incidences, it would not be doubtful that Freeze cheats at golf!!!

Freeze was never named in the NCAA allegations concerning booster Lee Harris. A bunch of phone calls prove nothing. If the NCAA had any evidence of some nefarious recruiting connection between Harris and Freeze, they would have named Freeze in the Harris allegation. This story by Wolken is an attempt to make a connection in the minds of the public that the NCAA could not make in its agenda-driven investigation. Wolken knows this horse he's ridden for so long is about to play out. He's trying to squeeze everything out of it while can.
