Article on Spirit. He signed form yesterday requesting permission to expore a transfer. He can contact schools, and they can contact him. Michigan is mentioned.
I would copy and paste the entire article, but I am not sure I should.

Damn!!! I was hoping he wouldn't do that.

I read a comment by someone on 247 a few days back about Patterson’s family not being pleased with a member of the coaching staff. I have zero idea if this is true, or who it might be.

Not at all surprising, I wish him all the best whatever he decides to do.

Tweet from Jimmy Smith:
Shea Patterson's release comes with stipulations: No SEC schools or teams on Ole Miss' schedule in next 2 years. #LSU is out

Not to debate who is better between Shea and Jordan, but I would think if Shea stays there will be a fierce competition at our QB slot. They are both tremendous athletes, but Shea may need more breathing room?! This is the first time in quite awhile when I've seen that I would be extremely confident having either lead our starting unit.

The benefit with Shae over Jordan is you have him 2 more years instead of just one.
I'm assuming Shae would have to sit next year if he transfers.

I’ve seen a lot of people say he may go Michigan.
