I bought an ASUS RT-AC87R a while back. Until this router, I had dead spots and poor performance. I always had linksys year in the past but at the time, the ASUS router was a top reviewed model. I have about 20 devices always connected. I have a network storage device and kids always streaming Netflix and I have never had 1 issue. Lots of built in network protection as well

My Asus was pretty solid for 3 years....It just started doing this odd behavior so I thought I'd get another router just in case..... It did drop the connection from time to time for no apparent reason.... But it was my phone that dropped out and was likely because I was moving around and hit a dead spot....
