    Ben Garrett is reporting..

    That players (he specifically named Shea Patterson and AJ Brown) approached Bjork and said they'd transfer out if Luke wasn't made permanent HC. That's very disappointing that players essentially tried to hold the program hostage, and that they were given into, rather than the long term good of the program considered.

    And what will they "demand" the next time?  Once you show that kind of weakness you invite anarchy.  So when they don't get their way they pitch a fit and refuse to play hard....drop passes....fumble....  I've seen teams go that route before and it comes about due to lack of discipline and allowing them to call the shots....

    He was panther quick and Leather tough.
    If he figured that He'd been pushed enough.

    I call BS on that.  Shea could go anywhere he wants and play anywhere he wants.  You really think he gives a shit about Luke or whomever is the HC?  All of these players will be draft eligible as jr's after next season.  Most won't be around to endure the shitstorm that will continue long after they are headed elsewhere.  
    Me thinks this is simply GOB cover fire.  Much like the Luke job offers in years past when the heat was on for Freeze to fire him.  I don't put anything past that fucking corrupt bunch of old farts.

    The Ole Miss administration has no backbone and does not know how to fight.  They simple give in to a bunch of kids and allow them to dictate policy.   Most of them will not be here in two or three years and you have to wonder if they will even become regular donors.  If this is true, then what will they want next?  A real man would have told them to transfer today.  He will write up their release for them instead of letting them run the show.  Well, guess what Bjork?  You are going to have people who say I am going to quit donating and buying tickets if Luke is the coach.  Now which one has the most prolific affect?

    I was wrong again.  Apparently Luke was behind these players demanding him be named permanent HC and threatening to transfer otherwise.

    Did you see Luke’s acceptance speech?  He thanks the players 10x and said he being head coach was bc of the players support.
