Well...if I were a TN fan I'd have to think long and hard about hiring a coach who is 1-3 against his in state rival.... TN doesn't have an in state rival.....their target is Bama....If Mullet can't beat OM why would he be able to beat Bama....
I don't see TN offering him...unless they're drunk on some of that mountain moonshine....
He was panther quick and Leather tough.
If he figured that He'd been pushed enough.

This is basically what my comment was last night. The response I got was that he was a team builder, a winner, an a good QB developer. Yep, they must have been drinking some of that good ole mountain shine to think Mullens will come to UT and save the day.

a 33-39 SEC record gets you 7 million a year, I need to get back in college coaching 
Hell , it is already making him 4.5 million a year and Miss state is going to throw more than that at him. INSANE for a coach with a career 69-46 record in 9 years, if you take away the TEN 1-AA gimmie wins during that time, you have barely a .500 coach at 59-46 ( he also has a combines 5 wins vs bottom feeders UAB and South Alabama during that time).
