This would be a good opportunity for both Luke and Ole Miss. If Luke were to get the job at USA, then this would get him out of Oxford and possibly keep him from being forced onto a new staff at Oxford. Hopefully Luke gets the job and takes all or most of the staff, especially Lingo, with him.
Good luck to Luke. This would be a great place for him to be a HC.

My thoughts exactly. The good news (at least in this sense) is that we don't have a chance against state. It's not like we are a tough, scrappy team that could somehow pull off the upset. We are soft and weak with an inability to stop the run or control the LOS on offense.

Adding to the conversation, it will be astonishing if Luke ever leaves Ole Miss. The GOB might force him on the next staff or give him a cushy Admin position. Hopefully, he will get a chance at USA which will show his true coaching abilities.
