Hugh Freeze Attempting to Contact Former Players via Twitter
Hugh Freeze wants to send letters to all of his former players. He has posted an email address that you can be sure will be loaded with spam and hate mail. Freeze just does not know when to keep his mouth shut. He has probably been going into convulsions because he is not in the limelight anymore. Freeze is simply an egotistical maniac who could not effectively manage his life and let the good things slip away from him. The University needed an agreement with Freeze that he would not seek out contact with any of our players.

I wonder if he thinks he may be OC somewhere next year and wants to start recruiting some transfers

The NCAA really wanted Freeze. Instead of doing the smart thing by getting along with the NCAA investigator and keeping his mouth shut, Freeze got into a pissing match with the NCAA investigator. Then Freeze went to social media and ran his mouth about Ole Miss not doing anything wrong primarily to prove that he was a man without fault.
Egos clashed when Freeze and the NCAA investigator got into a pissing match, and the NCAA felt threatened by Freeze's Tweets. As a result the NCAA wanted Freeze's head on a platter. Ole Miss found a way to fire Freeze by suspect numbers in his phone records. The powers to be at Ole Miss felt like if they fired Freeze, then the NCAA would be easier on the sanction against Ole Miss.

OK, what does that have to do with him reaching out to former players? FYI, they aren't just Ole Miss but also Lambuth, Arkansas State, and Briarcrest players that he wants to send a note to. I get it that you don't like him but I have a different interpretation of events than you do. I don't see how him writing a letter to his former players is malicious in any way. He leaves it up to them to volunteer their personal information.

There is the possibility that Freeze will be a consultant at another SEC school. His reaching out to recruits gives him the ability to contact them and possibly recruit them, if players are able to transfer from Ole Miss due to NCAA penalties. Freeze created this dumpster fire, yet he might end up benefiting from it. There is a reason he has the nickname "Snake".

I'm glad that crooks gone. The faster we get someone in as Head coach the better. If we can just get this egg bowl behind us.

We are going to have the Egg Bowl behind us alright. we are going to have an egg bowl to 'forget'. It's going to make Little Big Horn look like a Sunday School Picnic. The bunch in Skankville want to make an example of us. Several years ago, we had the chance to keep the pups from going to a bowl game, we would have really shut hunchback mouth. Instead, we didn't have the killer instinct. They have wanted to bury us, this is their chance. One good thing we may get out of this game. They (the present Rebel team) will get to see what it looks like to get your foot on an opponent's throat and stomping on it, not letting off until the clock strikes zeros.
