Says he was misled about the NCAA case by Ole Miss. I know the feeling.

You have to wonder who is paying Deontay Anderson's lawyer fees. Is Mars doing this case pro bono, will he expect payment when Anderson graduates, or what are the payment circumstances. If he is hiring a lawyer to take care of this matter, then make him pay the price of time and money. Legal fees are not cheap.

Didn't read the article but it seems like he would just wait to see if we get the 2nd year bowl ban so he could just transfer without going the legal route.

Well, being that there is a tweet by him saying that Freeze didn't lie, that's gonna be tough for him to get that release........

Initially, I thought the same thing about him waiting to transfer, but from the article states:

The article also states that Mars thinks Anderson has lots of potential. To me that translates into, I will do this legal work for him now, let it accrue interest, and then he can pay me when he signs an NFL contract. Ole Miss should just give him a release and let him figure things out for himself.

Buh Bye..... Good riddance.... if he doesn't want to be here then by all means cut him loose.... We don't need any 'attitudes' hanging around like a rotten apple waiting to spread the rot to others......BE GONE!

It is definitely time to cut bait with this whiner who does not want to be at Ole Miss. He will be nothing but a cancer on the team and invoke bad thoughts into the heads of other players. If Anderson does not want to be at Ole Miss, then let him go TODAY!!! Stop his benefits and let him pay for his school for this semester, or either he can just drop out, which he would probably do. Don't give him any help and maybe he will goose egg this semester and wonder why his GPA is so low!
One thing to consider is the fact if Mars wins this case, then he can set a precedence for other college football players to transfer. If he wins for Anderson, then you can almost insure that other Rebel players will seek the service of Mars to get their release without losing any eligibility.

This Mars character seems to be out to single handedly attack OM..... I wish we had some folks willing to fight like that......because guys like that sense weakness and ATTACK.....others (insert our side) sit back making for an easy target to pick on.....bullies do that sort of thing until you smack them in the nose.
