As usual

I checked the NCAA site this morning.  They had a couple of enforcement items, Fayetteville State and a swimming team, dated the 14th.  This pretty well firms up the "After Thanksgiving" date in my mind.  What that portends is anyone's guess.

Re: As usual

"After Thanksgiving" gives the NCAA an additional 364 days to administer their ruling.  🙃

Re: As usual

To me it's been plainly obvious from the get-go they are dragging this out for as long as possible (see 6 years on campus....has to be some kind of record) to inflict as much damage as possible without handing the actual death penalty down..... They wanted to put us back in our place at the bottom of the SEC and what better way than to hold us hostage for 6+ years......  Why anyone thought we'd get a fast release on the COI is beyond me because, IMO, the first clue was the extended investigation/witch hunt and it was obvious we were being made an example of by delaying as long as possible to infuse doubt and suspicion about the program..... Now they're trying to make sure we have trouble finding a top notch coach....resulting in another 4 years in the dog house.  That'll be 10 years....and we will become the poster child for NCAA penalties....

Oh....and BTW....I'm waiting on the announcement of a PC hire for HC......just sayin...

Re: As usual

Wasn't it Forde who said the NCAA was gonna hold off until AFTER the Egg Bowl to release their ruling?

Yes he was the one that reported it the day the hearing ended. He gets his info from the NCAA, so why people didn't believe that would be the case is beyond me.

Re: As usual

Both Forde and Rosebowl have a leak from inside of the NCAA - that much is very obvious. It's not like Larry Templeton would dare leak info about Ole Miss..........

Re: As usual

The leaks need to be investigated. That is what Ole Miss needs to target.

This reminds me of having a baby. You are given a due date, but the baby gets here when it gets here.
