Roper could easily be looking for a job after this year. He is currently at South Carolina. His name is called in defame Monday through Friday on the local sports radio. If Luke gets the job and brings back Roper, I will choose another weekend pastime.

We have beaten South Alabama, UT Martin, Louisiana Lafayette, Vandy and Kentucky. That is not 5 wins to hang a resume on. In addition we blew a sure win against an AWFUL Arkansas team. I just don't see us beating either A&M or the Leghumpers, but even if we did I still can't justify hiring Luke as those would be flukes. However, I could see Ole Miss justifying it. But as I said I would be surprised if we beat either of them and SHOCKED if we beat both.
Show me someone who doesn't care if they win or lose and I will show you a loser.

Hiring Luke as full time HC at Ole Miss with the maximum State of MS contract being four years would be equivalent to adding an additional fours years of NCAA sanctions to the Ole Miss football program.
