Art Briles - Candidate for Ole Miss Football HC
There is some talk about Art Briles applying for the HC job at Ole Miss. Allegedly, he would take the job if offered. The money is not a big deal. Briles wants the opportunity to get back into coaching.
So, what do you fellow Rebels think about Briles as a potential HC at Ole Miss?

Not to worry....they already have him lined up...and the 'tother' site, as I understand it, is basically running a daily love fest promoting Luke the preference of the GOBs...

Luke is getting lots of love from the GOB and sunshine pumpers. Unfortunately, these people cannot see the ACTUAL reality of things because of their red and blue glasses. Luke has done his job at Ole Miss. IN REALITY he has proven that he is not a good developing coach. It is time for Luke to move on to another school to coach, or if Ole Miss feels the need to keep him, provide him with an Administration job.
If you want proof of Luke's coaching ability, just look at the OL that has not been developed in six seasons. Also consider the fact that 5 star recruits like Tunsil and Greg Little signed with Ole Miss. After they signed, there were not other high caliber OLs who were recruited to compliment the skills of these 5 star recruits. Also, did you ever notice that no OLs were really coached up? They seemed to remain about the same as they were when they started playing at Ole Miss.
Luke being hired would mean lots of 6-6 or under seasons. Maybe there will be a few 7-5 with a bowl game. Oh, but wait . . . Ole Miss always wins the party!!!

I would rather re-hire Freeze than hire Briles. It's one thing to be sleazy but it's another to hide multiple rapes committed by your players. Briles needs to be in prison.
