Never even heard of high point until today…..it’s shaping up to be another long year in baseball it seems…

Surely this is Bianco’s last season. I know he has the natty but he almost squandered that season. If we hadn’t caught lightning in a bottle at the right time it would have just been another disappointing season.

I wonder if Bianco will even make it through the season. This is easily the least talented team he's ever had. Zero pitching and zero hitting. College baseball is my second favorite sport, and it's frustrating to see how bad of shape this program is in. Hopefully Mike does the honorable thing and retires.

I don’t see him walking away from a big buyout — not many people would leave that kind of money on the table…maybe if he did retire he and the school could work something out

Supposedly, his buyout is around $8M. it would be hard to walk away from that kind of money and its unfortunate that coaches are paid for poor performances. Bianco has made Ole Miss relevant in baseball. Now its time to find someone who will continue the relavancy.

The team did win the last 2 games of the series in convincing fashion so there’s that — but, right now, I don’t see a lot to be optimistic about this team in SEC play

The biggest thing that I saw was that Saturday and Sunday, we held them to two runs during those two games. Opposed to giving up 7 runs on Friday. As far as hitting, we weren't facing good pitching, so hard to judge our offense and if they have gotten their heads out of their rears.
Seems that every single year, Bianco is constantly changing up the starting rotation and can't seem to figure out who the top 3 guys are. We're hosting Iowa this weekend, and they have a very good pitcher in Brody Brecht - so that'll be a good litmus test for us offensively. We've got a lot of guys under .200 (Luke Hill has looked really bad) that have got to step things up.
