Wow
I am sure he was the only athlete at LSU to be doing this. lol
Read the amounts of money he was betting.

He bet a total of almost $640k over almost 9,000 bets. That amounts to about $70-75 per bet. The $70-75/bet isn’t a huge amount but is pretty substantial for most college students. The amount of bets is what is crazy to me. He made almost 9000 bets over 12-14 months. That is about 20 bets per day. That is a legit gambling problem and no doubt his nfl money will be gone in no time. A fool and his money…

He opened his account with 150K
That was my point
He won a lot on lsu. I have a feeling the nfl ain’t going to want that around.
He doesn’t have inside info on lsu/game plan etc anymore, so those winnings are going to go the way of every gambler that thinks they can beat the system
I am curious to see the other names that come out in this

Didn’t realize he opened account with 150k. That is crazy money for anyone, much less for a kid that age. Pretty dangerous to think about what kind of trouble these kids will get themselves into with that type of money at that age. I know I would have done some DUMB stuff with that type of money.
It will be interesting to see what other names come out of this. But no hope that LSU gets in any type of serious trouble.

Most likely, nothing will happen to Boute or LSU, and they will dodge a bullet with some loophole. If they can steal money from a children's hospital without repercussions, then their players can bet with any infractions.
