Saw on Twitter where Chase said that after this past season, Bianco's contract automatically rolled over to 4 years. I know alot of folks weren't happy with the team this season, but all of those freshmen are gonna be scary good next year. We could very well have one of the top pitching staffs in the entire country (not just the conference). The freshmen bats will always be much improved in year 2.

If Bianco can get that kind of treatment, why did Kennedy not get the same?

You can thank Vitter for that. AK also lost a top ranked recruit (Pickett - ranked #77 in the nation) because of that crap. I'm not sure why Vitter refused to extend his contract, but it hurt the program by doing so. Since the new arena opened up, AK has started pulling in higher ranked recruits, but he is also having to fight Vitter now at this point.

I couldn't agree more. How the hell did he even make it to Chancellor?

Easy answer......"WE ARE (rumpa pum pum) OLE MISS! Doing the same things and expecting different results..
I am sick of the political crap....I'm about ready to switch and follow a Juco school......at least our MS JC system TRIES to win....
I'm prepping myself....and depending on how the football coaching situation goes....I might just have to pull the plug and stop torturing myself..... It seems I care more than our adm about winning......

Yes, WAOM. Vitter is a poor excuse for a Chancellor. What has Bianco done to get a contract extension? Kennedy has made the most out of a bad situation.
Most of the last few head football coaches have scammed Ole Miss with decent seasons, then floundered or left (Tuberville, Cutcliffe, Nutt, and Freeze). Tuberville slipped out in the middle of the night to take a job at Auburn. He was not given much to work with, so he exited a bad situation mostly caused by Pete Boone. Cutcliffe did not fill his staff with quality personnel and went into a vacation mode. Nutt held Ole Miss for hostage to get a big raise, then went into vacation mode, and basically quit coaching. He set a record for a ZERO win SEC season at Ole Miss. Freeze was the GOB darling who has been exposed as a self-righteous hypocrite. Freeze was the HC when major NCAA violations occurred. He resigned amid personal and professional accusations related to making inappropriate phone calls.
Unfortunately for Ole Miss, the dark ages are back and mediocracy will be the status of the sports programs . . . wait, back in the dark ages, it seems they never left!!!
