That’s the one coach that I didn’t want them to hire. But even if he is great he won’t be better than Saban.

I'm curious to see if this turns out to be a home run hire or Harsin 2.0. From what I've read, Saban is gonna still have an office and have some sort of involvement - that could be troublesome for any HC.

That could be troublesome for Deboer but it might be designed to bridge the gap between the coaches and prevent mass departures from current players. Saban seems to be self aware enough to know how his continued involvement would undermine a coach.
