Rumors are swirling that the Judkins camp has reached about about returning. If I'm Lane, I'm not sure I'd take him back. A fractured locker room is a coach's nightmare.

If you do something like this, you have to have a position council and have his teammates meet with him and then make a decision.

But in my experience, once it gets to this point, almost impossible to put it back in the bottle

Totally agree. It would have to be the team voting to allow him back. And even then, he'd need to be on a very short leash with a much smaller NIL.

I'm not sure who was responsible for his attitude issue. His HS coach posted on X defending him and saying he always had a great attitude. But, someone certainly had been in his ears (I'd think) that created this problem.

Kind of amazing reading various message boards and everyone pretty much agreeing that Judkins is making an idiotic decision.

Re: Judkins

Looks like he's in Columbus right now. Betting Lane told him to hit the road.

As a former HS coach, that is a dumbass statement by his HS coach. He has no idea how the former 17 year old player that had very little notoriety and no money at the time you spent with him, now acts/lives etc.

He is a 20 yr old grown man, a 2 time all sec rb, that is big man on campus, who is maying 5-10 times more that his HS HC, on every major sports media program daily for 6 months of the year.

Just not the same person you knew, so just a dumb statement to make

Re: Judkins

Judkins officially committed to Ohio State. Maybe the change in scenery will do good for him...

Having said that, Bentley announced he's returning. We have Reescano still as well - who has great size and speed. But, I'm pretty sure Lane is gonna snag a transfer RB because I'm not sure if Bentley can physically hold up an entire system being the #1 back.

Re: Judkins

Ole Miss should let Judkins go, and they have.  He has committed to Ohio State.  Q caused a lot of dissension in the locker room, and much of it probably could not be repaired.  Judkins was overpaid and demanded too much money.  Ole Miss can do as good or better by utilizing Bently, Reescano, and the other RBs on the roster, plus getting a qualified RB in the portal.  Goodbye, Judkins.  Your actions and attitude show your true self.

Re: Judkins

Diggs is a solid RB. With Bentley returning and Reneesco, we'll be fine. Hate that we aren't having the success with OL recruiting. We really need a couple more road pavers that can move guys.

Hopefully OM can get Heard to join.  Would be big time

I know it’s a long shot as he is asking for some big $$$
