Couple of final thoughts on TAMU game

Hats off to the Ole Miss OL - they held their own against a talented front 7…I think Dart was sacked just one time.

A lot has been said (not so much on this board) about the officials — that crew wasn’t good but the total flags in the game were pretty even —- Ole Miss had 8 penalties for 61 yards and TAMU had 9 penalties for 73 yards —- I don’t believed the officiating was biased but SEC officiating overall leaves a lot to be desired and sooner or later the Conference needs to address it

I think the problem with the flags was the timing of them along with the fact that replays showed they were not good calls.  The no calls were just as bad like on Johnson’s intentional grounding.  We won so it’s not a big deal for this game.  But think about all the times Bama has won aided by the right call or no call at the right time.

Absolutely correct!  Bama fans like to point out how many penalties they are receiving, but hardly any of them are of significance in affecting the outcome of the game.  However, in close games, their opponent cannot say the same thing!

Exactly!  Sometimes a no call is as bad as a bogus call.  Missing something obvious is so frustrating, especially when the officials seem to be locked in on every little detail/move that the Rebels make.
