I am hearing West Virginia, as Neal Brown is on the hot seat. I live in North Carolina and know some WVU alums. That's what they say.
That is his home, but I could see him go fishing and hunting forever.
I don’t disagree with you, but he has an itch or desire to be one of the greatest that has ever lived. That’s a fact. He thought that would happen at Texas A&M, guaranteed. But recruiting and money has never been a problem for Jimbo. I just don’t know why or what the problems are, Fisher and A&M should be dominating. At least, that’s what I expected during his tenure!
A lot expected that, didn’t work. Neither did Sumlin, Sherman, Franchione and really RC Slocum. RC is loved around A&M but one of the all time under achievers and waste of talent guys of all time. Great DC but average HC. Lots of wins vs also rans on the old SWC and Big 12 bottom feeders. Not a lot of wins vs Stoops at OU, Brown at Texas and The Neb teams during those years
So people have to ask, great facilities, great fan base, unlimited $$$. Coaches get hired with great Resumes.
Culture of comfort
Same ole same with how things are ran and winning is not always first.
Win or lose the donation keep coming, fans still show up. So why the need to change business as usual. Same BMAs keep getting the $$$ contracts to keep building new buildings and facilities.
Hell, they just built a new indoor facility because they wanted it 10 ft closer to the practice field. Niw they had a perfectly good indoor facility basically in the same spot. They said being closer to the outside practice field would save 2 minutes a day getting the team on the field. Therefore it would save all this practice time per season. Etc etc. when reality is a BMA got the contract to tear down the other one and another BMA got a contract to build the new one.
Same with new indoor track facility. Had one of the best in the country already. Tore it down and build another one.
Example

As for Pittman. They just gave him a contract extension and raise this summer, which was laughable
He was 19-17 at the time 10-16 in the sec.
Now, 3 1/2 years in he is 21-22 and 10-20 in the sec
People say all the improvement he has done since Morris was fired. But Morris took over after Bielema left him a team with 44 scholarship guys. Morris recruited the majority of starters stil on this team. 14 starters including the qb.
He has had 3+ years and hasn’t gotten bettee players and hasn’t win crap.
Pittman is a fraud and baby. Cried 2 weeks ago at his PC that he was quitting social media because internet people were being mean to him. lol. Hey titty babby, just don’t go on there. Do you have to cry and announce it.
I hope the keep him for years.
Oke pittman might be in trouble. I laughed at ben watson and those clowns talk today about how Pittman is a proven winner. lol

I think Pittman sealed the deal today when they had 4th and 2 around midfield and got a delay of game penalty while trying to decide whether or not to go for it. The situation in the 4th quarter was a no brainer to go for it and was their best chance to win the game.

I think Pittman was in over his head from the beginning- kind of like Matt Luke; it’s hard jumping from position coach to head coach — but he had two strong coordinators that helped him….now that they’re gone…things aren’t going so well
