I always assumed it was Lane, but there's really a big difference in how we used to attack the field when Lebby was the OC, that I wonder how much influence Weis has. With Lebby, we were attacking the field and stretching out the defense vertically. It just doesn't look like we're doing that this season. Could very well be a personnel issue, but it feels way off.
Also, I know we replaced our OL coach with John Garrison after last year. It seems we returned a good deal of talent along the OL (Nick Broeker being our biggest loss). Looking now, we returned 3 of the 5 starters. I just can't figure out what is going on with the running game. I'd give Bentley more playing time and see what he can do. Judkins appears to be hitting a specific gap and not using his eyes better in bouncing things out.
Speaking of the OL, are we playing a man scheme on the OL this year? Pretty sure we had a zone scheme last year that was so successful.
Anyways, we lost a game we should have won and we've got LSU coming into town on Saturday. Coaches need to regroup and make adjustments that are needed.
Defense actually played well. We had some blown coverages, but overall, the did their job enough to put us in position to win. Perkins looked awesome out there. That kid is gonna be special.

It appears Lebby had a lot of influence on the offense and the plays called. Lebby is a much better coach than Weis Jr. having more experience and being a much better play caller. Rebel fans are now seeing a big difference between the Lebby and the Weis Jr. offense at Ole Miss.

Lane allows the OC to call the games. He of course has veto power. But he is heavily involved in the game planning and structure of the down distance etc
Have a feeling he will be a little more “involved” this week and from here forward

I do hope he gets more involved. The play calling has been horrendous, and especially the block scheme changes with our OL.

Like I was saying. He got a little more “involved” this week.
Now he may have to get involved with the defense

Being able to run the ball completely opens up our offense. Having Prieskorn as an option makes us dangerous. Dart is really good when he isn’t running for his life immediately after the snap.

I think he was a little more “involved” on the defense this week. lol
I kid.
Pretty sure Pete said he was going to corral Jefferson and make him beat them passing. Well Jefferson 17-11yds and Arkansas had 33 yds rushing on 37 carries 285 total yds
Great bounce back week for the defense
