Chris Beard would be an excellent hire for Ole Miss.  If he is hired, hopefully, he can make the Ole Miss basketball program competitive in a relatively short period.

Sorry guys, but Beard is a detestable human. The stuff at texas was just a small sample of his worthless life. At Little Rock he was banging students ( he was married). At tech he was partying with students and cheating on wife wityh many women (the women he moved to Austin with him was just one, was a HS volleyball coach in Lubbock). I know many folks that have known him since his early days as a coach. He has bounced around a lot because of him being a degenerate. Great coach. But you name it, he has done it. The reason he kept jobs is he was at lower level schools. Once he moved up to a place like Texas Tech it started making news. The Tech people were thrilled to win so they hid it.  But you can’t hide things in Austin and it blew up.


People remember I championed Kiffin being hired.  There is no similar things in hiring the 2. The worst people could say about Lane was he was arrogant or maybe immature in his past.

Beard in the SEC will blow up and leave mud all over OMs face.

Oxford is a small town, but as we know in the SEC everything is huge. And with Texas joining the SEC. they will have people just watching him.  That’s what they do.
Let him say hi to a lady at a bar.


Anyway, no way would I ever root for him at OM.

Someone needs to find out if the AD is aware of this.

Well.  All you can do now is hope he keeps it together a couple of year so it is not a disaster when he leaves for a bigger job.

The only way he could leave for a bigger job is to win a few years and not have anything blow up in those years.

The problem with that is it the crap comes out when they leave.

For you guy sake hopefully he can do well and get gone quickly and nothing pops up. The longer he stays, the percentages something will happen


But I can’t ride with OM as my second team in basketball now.
