Basketball question
I am watching the A&M vs L$U game and L$U has Jalen Reed playing for them. 6’10” freshman.
He had to go to prep school in CA last year, but is a Jackson kid and his dad a OM and SEC LEgend Justin Reed
I know it is probably well known, but why no Ole Miss for the kid?

Ok. I see now his dad passed in 2017. How terrible. But man you would think he might want to honor his dad and play at OM.
Oh well. Didn’t know his dad had passed. That answers most of my question.

I remember hearing about a fundraiser when Justin was going through treatments for his cancer (blood cancer I believe). And, to be honest, I think Jalen dodged one by not being coached by Kermit.
