Not surprising in this crazy transfer world. I would expect someone got some $$$ to family to get him to come back closer to home.
I do hate these kids that post “respect my decision “
Naw, cant do thar when your decision changes with the wind.
Just shut up and do what you think you need to do

Spoiled brats. They really need to bring back the sit out a year rule for transfers.

NIL really needs fixing. It was never meant to be used to buy players like it is. Unfortunately, I don't think it's gonna be possible to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Agreed. The NCAA will tweek NIL a little, but not to the extent that is needed.

Rumor is OM has stepped up and met the NIL deal Davison and his family were looking for. It’s not a done deal yet, but odds are looking good that he will br staying at OM.

Rock, what do you think about players who want to leave, attempt to leave, and then return? When they return, do they bring a bad attitude that might start negative thoughts amongst the team?

I think in this situation it is a little different. The DC they thought they were going to play for was fired. Then the NIL deal. You get a new DC with a big pedigree, so he gets a chance to re recruit the guys.
In this situation I don’t see it as a issue. Don’t think it has anything to do with attitude etc
Just business
Fans are going to have to get used to players entering the portal for purely a business deal.
In the past when players transfered it could have a lot to do with hurt feelings etc.
But with NIL, just not the case anymore.

As I thought, neither Davison or Johnson visited A&M. Johnson visited Oregon and Davison nobody.
