From UNT (North Texas St when I coached there).
He played HS at one of the DFW Power Houses in Arlington Lamar.
Was All Conference last year at UNT.
2023 will be his 5th season, but he will have 2 years of eligibility left because of the covid exemption for the 2020 season.
In 4 seasons at UNT he played in 50 of 52 games. Playing both safety and corner up until mid 2021 where he has started the final 19 games of his career at corner.
Solid pickup

Looks like OM is trying to figure out a few snags in getting him enrolled today as today is the last day.
You would think this would have already been handled before the last second seeing they offered him a week+ ago and OM knows of its own deadline.
If I remember correctly Trigg had the same issues last spring but was eventually cleared.
Just un needed stress on the kid and their families.
I remember for 30!years A&M would have these Mickey Mouse type problems getting transferrs in front other 4 year schools and JUCOs were almost impossible.
That all changed with Jimbo. I can praise him for that. He had 1 issue his first month on the job. Then he cleaned house in the compliance office and basically when to the Board of Regents and said he would haul ass if he kept getting road blocks from the university over transfers.
Hasn’t had a issue since.
Lane needs to have one of these come to Jesus meetings with the high brass at OM

Academic administration likes to block people from enrolling in school. Most likely, they have a quota of people to block to make their academics look good. Remember all the things Powe went through? No matte what he did to improve himself, Ole Miss academia tried to block him.
