Basketball program needs new leadership

The team was down to UCF 21-0 at home. Kermit's time has to be up. There was all of the talk about these high ranked kids - but the results are the results. Keith needs to make a change.

I tend to agree but I don’t really know what the answer is for Ole Miss basketball. It’s clearly always going to be way behind football and baseball — A very distant third.

Andy should've never gotten fired. We had the worst arena in the conference, easily, and he never got a chance to use it as a recruiting tool.

Re: Basketball program needs new leadership

Building a new arena was supposed to instantly transform Ole Miss basketball, or at least that's the bill of goods pushed by fans and the school.

Kennedy should not have been fired, but there was someone in the administration that pushed an agenda to dump Kennedy.  It was a former Ole Miss basketball player from Arkansas who started the campaign to remove Kennedy.

Kermit is not the answer as a basketball coach at Ole Miss.  There is a reason that Kermit did not spend his coaching career in a top-level program.  He is in over his head at Ole Miss and needs to not have his contract renewed this season.  Hopefully, a good basketball coach will replace Kermit.  Otherwise, Ole Miss will just be a subpar basketball team.
