My probably unpopular take on LK

..if he doesn’t want to be at Ole Miss then he needs to go — stinks losing a coach to a division rival but that’s just what Ole Miss faces no matter who coaches here - there are programs in the division with higher ceilings and much proven track records of success.

If he does stay - then we’ll be doing this same type song and dance every November he’s here because he’s going to keep looking and putting his name out there

Re: My probably unpopular take on LK

I agree with you. Ole Miss has done everything he has asked for - without him having to deal with overbearing boosters. Ole Miss has made a huge commitment to him - but he's unwilling to make that same commitment. We have had to deal with this every year - LSU last year, Miami the year before that....it is getting old.

Re: My probably unpopular take on LK

For the money being offered to LK, Ole Miss could get almost any top coach.  Now the big thing is will the coach want to come to Oxford?  Ole Miss and Oxford still have inferior images to outsiders.

Just how much goodwill has Lane already lost in Oxford? I realize he's a weird dude, but the way he has handled this has caused a lot of folks to get tired of his shtick.

I know I am.  I'd love for him to stay nut if he isn't committed 100% to Ole Miss, don't let the door hit you in the ass
