MSU Game Week Distraction
The Kiffin to Auburn has certainly been a distraction for Ole Miss fans. With this story being tossed around, I really have not been focused or looking forward to the Egg Bowl rivalry like I did in the past. If I am distracted, then you can imagine the distraction among the team players and coaches.

I totally agree, and Lane has to know it as well. There's no way the team isn't aware of everything going on. Lane could have easily put a stop to this if he was staying. I'm at the point where I think he is going to be leaving - and it's gonna suck knowing that Auburn was able to come in and snag him.

It has been stated on another site that both Lane Kiffin and Hugh Freeze have interviewed multiple times in person or via zoom with Auburn AD John Cohen.

Just don't let Kiffin on the field Thursday night. We did this dumb shit with Lebby. Hopefully Carter learned something from it but I'm guessing not.

Yep, if Keith learns that Lane is gone, then Lane doesn't need to be anywhere near this team any more. If he can be fired with cause, or suspended, whatever, keep him away.

If Lane is going to Auburn, then send him packing now. Lock him out and let him get an early start on moving to Auburn. His legacy at Ole Miss will be tarnished, his last game will be a beat down by Arkansas, and his image of being a job jumping quitter will be reinforced.
