What's everyone's take on the game?

If our defense plays like it did against AU — it’s gonna be tough to get a road win. Also playing a young QB at Tiger Stadium doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy

I'm pretty nervous about the game. We haven't put together 4 quarters of solid play of both sides of the ball all year. Gonna be a huge test for this team. Dart needs to be smart with the ball and not force things. Defense needs to prevent explosive plays. It's hard to get a read on this game - could be a blowout by either team or a very tight game. One thing about it, we'll know how good of a team we are afterwards.

I think we win by 14+

That would certainly be nice! We're not getting any respect at all by the media right now. A win over LSU in Baton Rouge would have people start to take us seriously.

I base this on two reasons:
1. Our offense is hard to stop because it is so versatile. Our O-line is great this year. We have playmakerd all over the field.
2. Kiffin's coaching this year has been insane. I've never seen an Ole Miss coach do such an in depth and thorough job. He's building something special here.
We just need fans that don't lament every game as a loss before it is played. We have a serious problem in our fanbase with loser mentality. That needs to change.

There is no doubt that this game will be tough. Ole Miss has stalled and let lesser teams hang around playing them way too close, but in the end, the Rebels were able to win. LSU has the home team advantage and Ole Miss is their homecoming opponent. The Tigers also have an open week after Ole Miss, so they don't have to be looking ahead to anyone. LSU is also up after their road win in the Swamp. Ole Miss needs to jump on the Tigers early and not let up like they have done in the past. To win this game, the Rebels must give a full four quarters.

The key to the game will be to stop and contain their QB. He has 10 TDs to 1INT this year and has rushed for over 400 yards. OM cannot have a let-down quarter, and as Meridian alluded to above, we need to play 4 solid quarters this time to beat them. No turnovers, low penalties, and make all our FGs as well. It's a tall order, but it is very possible.
