Terrible coaching once again. A&M needs a OC.  Jimbo has no clue on how to run a offense.  With the turnovers A&M got, should have win by at least 10

And the last play call from the 2 yd line with :03 left was just pathetic

I could write a paper on everything wrong with that play call, but my brain hurts.

It was a bad play call yes.

But if #1 the ref calls holding it gives A&M another play. And yes, the corner held him
But just like 20 other holding calls against Bama, they don’t call them.

#2 if the receiver runs the route correctly, 95% chance the play is successful.
The play is a fake fade and stop and out. You have to sell the fade to the DB to get him to run off and then stop and break it off. The receiver, a 5 star true freshman didn’t even try to run the corner off. He just ran a quick out and broke it off before the goaline. The player I am sure is just used to being so superior of a athlete, the things like steps, route discipline etc have never been a issue for him.  He is a great talent and will learn, but it sure hurt last night.

But to the play call. Stupid to the short side of the field. Also, if I have 1 play on the road to beat the #1 team in the country, I am finding a way to get Achane #6 the ball.  He is by far your best playmaker and since your all around stud A.Smith #0 is out after breaking his ankle last week. You line Achane up out wide, or in the slot to the wide side of the field. Something other than let him stand behind the qb and watched the last play.  Just unforgivable.


I pray that Jimbo is forced to hire a OC this off season. He ain’t getting fired. Owe him 85 million

Jimbo is a great CEO type coach.  But to far in the past in his concepts and beliefs in modern college football.

Even Saban realized this years back and brought in Lane to bring Bama into the 21st century offensively.


Bama won, they should have won, but giving A&M 4 turnovers and missing 3 fgs and not having Young gave A&M a shot and Jimbo pissed down his leg.

I would have with run a draw with Archane or at least roll out the QB to the far side so you have at least more than one target.

Bama gets away with so many holds, and has over the years, that it's just laughable at this point. I still remember when they got away with a blatant facemask that caused our guy to fumble and they scooped and scored. Then there was that spotting of the ball where dude turned around to see where the chains were and moved the spot a full yard to give them a 1st down. Would love for conferences to no longer have officials and it just be a random NCAA pool that is used.
